and the silence from Oakwell is deafening. I think we are gonna be disappointed on deadline day yet again.
You could well be correct DT but I'm still living in hope. If it's ends up the case then our transfer dealings over the summer will have been a let down again
well I am hoping so too 'Doc' but I just have this bad feeling. I think they may indeed have been waiting to see if we could get a windfall off the back of a John Stones transfer... this is looking increasingly improbable. If we have gambled on that then we have taken a huge risk. However if Stones has a good season at Everton and gets a few good England performances under his belt, then perhaps a bigger deal may come and he may be tapped up by foreign teams who WILL not **** about with the price. This could stand us in good stead for next season.
Re: EH? We aren't signing anyone, unless it's any of the loan players. We ARE waiting for the loan window to open.
Worst summer transfer window I can remember. Had some shocking January's but no summer ones as bad that I can remember. The only pluses are the two centre backs we've signed
think we will buy pearson, he knows he aint gonna get in man u team, and then get J O S on loan , Blackburn only played him in one cup game so far, but he is only 21 and obviously think he is going to blossom into a championship player soon and don't want us to get him, also think same source who got us crawley as got another arsenal youngster for us ,so maybe we will sign townsend too ,free up another loan
