This the guy thats on 90K a week? Was only a matter of time before he scored against someone in this league.

Some people need to understand that this is the hardest season since we came back into this league.

    Beat me to it.

Something needs to be done to stop clubs loaning players that they can't afford to pay. How does it meet the spirit of the fair play rules if the player is being paid by another club?

What does his pay packet prove? He was on the same last year and the same before and he didnt score, so just why does other players being paid more than ours prove? Other than the fact that ours are fecking crap away from home!

The rules should be simple; if you can't afford to pay their wages you can't have them on loan.

takes away the whole idea of loans though. We don't pay 100% of the wages for any players we loan so why should anyone else have to. Unfortunately we don't have 10k a week to give to Wayne Bridge as our part of the loan deal

    Can we?

I wonder how much of his wages are being paid by Brighton? I would guess that they are paying 30-40%. Okay, I can't say for sure, but do you really believe that he is being let out on loan for nothing?

If we want to loan someone we will have to pay part of his wages, unless we are very lucky. And usually, there is an amount to pay up front for the privilege of loaning him.
