Is it a crime, to be convinced of tax evasion? I'm convinced of tax evasion as well. Doesn't make me a bad person.
Doddy was acquitted of tax evasion , his barrister argued that Ken didn't trust banks and thought the banking system would collapse so he kept his cash at home . Not so daft after all
As Durkar Red says he wasn't convicted , effectively he chose to accept a settlement figure from HM Revenue, that was dependent on absolute full disclosure of everything , my accountant friend told me it was a similar deal offered to Lester Pigott , but LP paid up from an account HM Revenue didn't know about .
Ken Dodd was not convicted of tax evasion. Or anything at all to my knowledge. Accusing him of such is 'ridiculous'. He kept all his money in a suitcase as he didn't trust the banks. He was ridiculed. Who was right? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
