to replace Mad Tom

Let's face it we could replcae him with Toby Tyke and notice an improvement

Doers anyone reckon we'll actually sign some defenders that can defend soon?

    Agreed

but Ritchie apparently wants another forrad

Kell might be the uncompromising midfielder that we lack, but as for the defence...in the middle at least its no better than last term...

    RE: Agreed

Whats wrong with Reid and Hassle at the back. Granted we have little quality cover, but those two showed they were more than an accomplished pairing at the back of last year.

    In some games...nowt

but with a player of Hassell's height at centre back we would soon get "found out" by other teams.

We lack a leader on the pitch...nay in the squad...a natural captain

Agreed. We've not had a Redfearn-esque leader since.......errrrr.......Neil Somebody. Forget his surname.

I personally dont see the problem with Hassell at CB. His height could be a problem, but he marked Parkin out of the game v swindon. And he's a big lad. Think I would prefer Reid and Carbon as first choice with the players we currently have. But we all know about Carbon and his treatment table antics.

We STILL need another centre half (with pace!)

    Carbon played at Bideford

But was then injured for the Scarborough game. Which more or less sums him up.

    Yep..

The chances of the sixteen game a season man actually playing more than 16 games is pretty slim

    piss him off

    RE: Yep..

Hart got rid of Gorre because "He's injury prone" then signed Carbon

    WTF?

In a word no, the next signing will be a midfielder, Andy Ritchie, and in his own words : i am confident the lads we have will do a good job for us, especially if we can keep Matt Carbon injury free!!

Not going to happen unfortunately. I reckon him and Reid would make a decent pairing, but Carbon was injured again after the Bideford game.

    You are all Joey's.

    I like Paul Reid.
    Decent laiker.
Too slow to play alongside Carbon though.
Need either a nippy centre half to play alongside Carbon / Reid ... or a big **** off ball winner to play alongside Hassell.

But - what do I know?
I didn't come up with ''Anthony Kay is a striker''.
