Completing the Pennine Way Started at Kirk Yetholm in May, walking south and got as far as Dufton in Cumbria before having to pack in because of blizzards for which I was not equipped. Setting off again from Dufton to do the last 160 miles, mainly wild camping but may not be able to resist the odd pub from time to time! It would be just my luck, having failed in May because of snow, to be beaten by sunstroke this time.
Re: Completing the Pennine Way 'Quality time' with Mrs C and the lad. Whatever the fck that means. I don't think football, shopping for guitars and drinking beer is necessarily what she has on her mind, unfortunately.
Re: Completing the Pennine Way Mowing the lawn and visiting the pub.....not necessarily in that order
Re: Completing the Pennine Way Saturday morning for me will be a trip down to Oakwell to get my season ticket sorted along with a few mates then probably take ar lass out for a meal in the sunshine. Sunday involves me taking the long heart wrenching walk to the top of my street to Darfield cricket club and getting soaked in it! The beer that is, not the sun. I burn like no tomorrow.
