wondered what everyone feels at the moment. I think the lads showed great character and am optimistic.
Great result in the circumstances (i.e. weak squad). Seems like that is now being corrected, so feeling quite optimistic. Still feel we need a proper left-back though.
I'm very optimistic Think for next weekend we'll have at least 2 new players playing, which may sort out some of the problems we experienced yesterday. We were expected to lose yesterday and i think our second half performance showed that we have the ability to compete under pressure.
optimistic If we get Hammill, Halfredsson a striker then there will be good competition for places, with the prospect of eager young players waiting in the wings. We also have the sound basis of an experienced defence, that with its limitations, is at least used to playing with each other. I think we'll be ok. I also think we are definitely due a slice of luck Vs Coventry, and fully expect us to be sitting in the top 4 on Saturday night. (worship)
Still pesimistic But I can assure you I had a large piece of humble pie when we came from 2-0 down yesterday. Maybe it'll take a few more games to get me going, but I just feel doom and gloom this season!
Not entitled You have to have suffered at least 30 years of Oakwell football to be pessimitic.... and now is definitely not the time. There have been much worse times, even in recent years.
Oh, I know We've got it quite good these days compared to how it used to be. I think while we have Davey in charge I'll always be bugged by pessimism, but here's hoping he proves me wrong. If we stay up I will personally apologise to him!
very optimistic! Had to watch the game from the Kop surrounded by Wendies. Was seriously close to getting a right slapping when second goal went in!!!
Very optimistic At half time things were different though (N)
From that 2nd half showing alone, thats proves alot to me. If we have the bottle to fight back like that in the Sty, then i'm more than confident of a comfortable mid-table finish. I certainly don't wanna get carried away, but if we can stay relatively injury free this term, then there's certainly no reason why we can't be play-off contenders come the seasons end - given the right additions to the playing staff, obviously.

I wasn't feeling too optimisic at half time but credit to Simon Davey whatever he said at half time did the trick. As bad as we were in the first half we still had a good few attempts on goal.
Got to be optimistic, great result yesterday and a good pre-season. Even at half time yesterday I didn't think we were out of it. We should have been level even though we were playing *****. There does seem to be a very good team spirit and we have got some really good players. If we add the 3/4 players that we are supposed to be we look like a very decent outfit. I am confident that the young players in the squad can contribute to the season, so we will have a big enough squad.
I'm optimistic - I think we showed great character - after the match I thought about Reds teams of old at 2-0 down they would have rolled over and conceeded more not started to attack and turn the game round!
optimistic about what? That we'll stay up? If so, then yes, but I'm not optimistic that we'll go above 15th position, say.
Lack of pace in defence / marking at set pieces are always a concern. Still conceding 2 goals per game.We should be buying Serie A defenders. We need Colace to protect our lot.
