definatly would not be my first choice but i would have him if we signed another striker as well as him, you could even argue that he is that experienced championship goal getter that people on here expect us to sign.

    He might have...

But not for a long time and he's never been a very good finisher.

Wasn't bad at one time, but he's crapper now than ever.

He doesn't get any goals anymore though, not since he left Burnley the first time for Sheffield United.

Other than that you have to go back to 2000 since he was reasonably prolific.

    He isn't

    he's possibly a bit faster.

He was always more of an athlete and missed bags of chances for every goal scored.

I'd be pretty pissed off if we signed him

Reading between the lines I think ...SM....knows summert here

SM a week or so ago was saying we need two big strong fast players up front
He went on to say something on the lines that this is the way of modern Championship teams
If the rumour is right about Akinbiyi then it looks like this is exactly what Simon Davey is looking for

So it seems SM is sort of in the know.................so is SM connected to the club in some way or what ???

Or does Simon Davey think that SM is all knowing and follows his advice on the sort of player to sign?
