Who do we all think will go up an down this year? I reckon: Bolton Wolves -------------------------------------- Blackpool (p) Leeds Cardiff Burnley -------------------------------------- Brighton Blackburn Middlesbrough Leicester Hull Derby Charlton Wednesday Ipswich Birmingham Huddersfield Palace Barnsley Forest Watford -------------------------- Peterborough Millwall Bristol City
I'm not sure Wolves will do as well as people make out. They dropped like a stone in the prem and not sure what to expect from their new manager. They are starting to see players leave and they have taken on Nouble after all! Think the London teams will struggle this year, fancy Watford will struggle under Zola and Palace have lost more talent. Charlton have financial problems and if anything happens to Henderson at Millwall, they will find it hard to cope. Not sure what to make of Blackburn under Kean either. Peterboro will be fine but could see Forest, Bristol City and Derby struggle, maybe along with Ipswich again who had that horror start last year til they visited the well! It looks a strong division based on names and size of teams, but I suspect it wouldn't be surprised to find it's not as strong as last season
After looking at it, I don't think the division is anywhere near as strong as it has been in recent years. I fancy the promoted teams to do well, think Charlton will carry momentum if nothing else. Don't think Forest, Leicester, Ipswich, Birmingham, Watford, Milwall, Bristol will do particularly well. Think I made a mistake over P'Boro, reckon they'll be okay thinking about it. Just fancy Wolves and Bolton to make an instant return, as for teams already in this league, there only seems to be Cardiff and Burnley getting stronger, while I reckon Blackpool are an all round decent side, who've done well to hold onto Matt Phillips and young Ince. Reckon Derby could be dark horses, and are a steal to finish above Forest @ 2/1. Quick edit: and as much as it pains me, I reckon dirty Leeds will do well, but not enough to go up.
