to just a couple of chances which were produced from mistakes by our players. We seem to be solid at the back, but prone to making the odd error. If we were to iron out those mistakes, then we'll continue to produce clean sheets. Sadly we lacked little going forward. Sam Winnall cut a dejected figure again. Crowley and Harris both loom tricky players, but frustrated by having little end product. Scowen had an unusually poor game. Bradford were a big strong side, and we were far too weak in comparison. just a couple of chances ? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/33944391 not according to the BBC stats
well perhaps Doc but seriously I was gonna come up this morning and drive back the same day... but summat came up and had to stay , my 4 year old Grandson is asthmatic and had a bad turn last night which meant a camping trip in an oxygen tent overnight... no way was I gonna come away. He has recovered just fine but I just could not leave the area when he was in a state like that.
it also has to be said that Both Burton and Bradford have teams that have been together longer, have older experienced players in them too... our average age is about 21 or 22... we are doing ok IMHO.
OFC it does I did really wanna come tho'..... I saw this fixture last season and we won 3-1 despite going behind early. Also the BBS meet before the game appealed too. But hey I am now in a position in life to be able to take full retirement next summer at age 61..... first thing on the agenda will be getting my Season ticket back again for next season.
Never underestimate the 'big game' effect the game prior to a televised game against prem. opposition is invariably a disappointment, couldn't go today but it's obvious we are lacking some serious support for Winnall
