I don't expect us to hammer you at all. I expect us to win, but following Liverpool throws a tendancy to expect a rollercoaster. Particularly round this stage of the season. In 2005, when we won the CL, we were outplaying and outclassing Leverkusen and Juventus in the week and getting beat by Burnley, Crystal Palace and Southampton at the weekend.

We have definitely matured since then, but we're still terribly inconsistent.

 

I'm just hoping for a good game and a respectable showing.
