I have now seen Barnsley in 5 Quarter Finals:

    81/82 League Cup - Liverpool
    84/85 FA Cup - Liverpool
    97/98 FA Cup - Newcastle
    98/99 FA Cup - Tottenham
    07/08 FA Cup - Chelsea

My Dad can add another one:

    60/61 FA Cup - Leicester

Not bad for a so-called small club.

Add to these our season in the Premier, play off final trips to Wembley and Cardiff and a total of 4 promotions. Just 2 relegations to sour things and one of those was a glorious failure.

Now an FA Cup Semi Final to come at the new Wembley!

WHAT A FANTASTIC 34 YEARS I'VE HAD FOLLOWING THE REDS!

RE: So-called small club.....................and what about the crowd yesterday

Full house even though it was on the Tele
Thousands of stay away fans watching it in the boozers

Makes you wonder if the ground is big enough when we get near the top of the Championship
Its definitly not big enough if we ever get back into the Premeirship

    Well said mate

I would rather have the exitement of recent years (including the bitter dissappointments of relegations) than seson after season of mediocrity.

    What a surprise!

Were you mixing it with the real ale?

We ended up heading out of town cause it was just so manic trying to get served.

Great atmosphere but not much good if you don't have a pint!

    the service is shocking........
You can usually find a beer thats good but you have to buy 2 or 3 pints at a time
