So on your reckoning Odajaye and Ferenci are great and thats why they are playing up front?

Not at all, we've not many other options up front.

And I too thought it was foolish to play Hassell in midfield, however, and yesterday in particular, I think Hassell is improving in his midfield role; he breaks up a lot of the opponents play and brings our other players into the game. I don't think Togwell brings much possitive to our game at all. I think the problem is that people see Hassell as a defender - and won't accept him as anything else.

Swallow his pride and play Christansen

Davey commented on a lack of striker availabilty yesterday on the radio, but Christiansen is fit, I have to say that he is By far a better striker than OJ and Ferenci and deserves a chance.. the problem is that Mr Arrogant Stubborn Davey will not even JUSTIFY his exclusion to the media when they ask the questiuon as to why Davey is playing strikers who are not good enough for this division.
Even if Christiasen is going to leave at the end of the season , would it not be a good idea to give him a run out and give him chance for Davey to use his frustration by proving him wrong by not playing him.

I will start the bandwagon off and say that the fear is if we get relegated then OJ will be the only striker left at the club, and i am afraid that will be a double relegation to League 2..

Spot on mate. Davey's stubborn pig-headedness is getting ridiculous. Our best chance ever of reaching an FA Cup Final and Davey isn't man enough to put aside personal differences and name Christensen as a sub.
    Pathetic, childish and unprofessional.
The same attitude will take us down too.

totally agree thought i was the only one thinking that way.davey was appointed purely because he was the cheapest option.you would never believe barnsley has a chairman with £48 million in the bank.well you get what you pay for,and for barnsley its terminal decline.

    Play this team.

    Steele

    Foster Souza Nyatanga Kozluk

    JCR Togwell/Johnson Howard Devaney

    Macken Coulson

    As often as possible.

With Leon, Odejayi, Ferenzci, Christensen, Van Hamoet, Hassell, Nardiello in line for subs.

    Stay up?

What? And ruin his plans for a return visit to Wembley next year in the League One play-offs against Yeovil? Are you mad?

Hassell man of the match for me yesterday. Only person I'd even consider.

That said, I'd had a few. I'll watch the rerun on Sky.
