Have we ever got at least one league win during a season from each ofDonny, Sheff Utd and Sheff Weds?

It'd be a long time ago if so. Perhaps if we replaced Donny with Rovrum there may be one in the last 20 years?

Probably the season when we beat fowls 3-0. We went unbeaten in 10 against blades so may have beat them as well that season. Im not sure which other local teams were in our division that season though.

Nah, we didn't. Drew twice with them, 1-1 each game. Drew twice 1-1 with Rotherham as well, both those aways were in that 10 game unbeaten run, which unfortunatle consisted of seven draws. What a truly diabolical desperately atrocious season that was.

In 1947/48 we did the double over Doncaster and beat Wednesday and Leeds at home. Got hammered away though.

Can Brian Howard play against us?

Knowing Barnsley the answer is probbaly - yes - forgot to put that in the deal .....
But I think the Football league prohibits it ?

I think we learned our lesson after the Isiah Rankin debacle at Grim on Sea. Also re Howards give away to Blades. Interesting how weve just hot JCR on a long term contract isnt it? A good move all considered.

Hes the most likely outfield player to be courted by other clubs IMHO.

it was pretty soon after xmas.....

...but not Boxing Day. Terrible ground, frozen pitch, Kevin fecking Donovan. Unhappy days! The only thing that made it worth watching was the orange ball!
