Stuck in chilly Cyprus (30 degrees again today, brrrr a bit nippy) till wednesday so will miss another home game too.

Feared the worstwhen sky anouncedJFH scored ("Cardiff deservedly take the lead") but shouted out loud when Brian knocked in the equaliser.

Question is - did we deserve a point or not?

A bit worried that our "strikers" are not finding the net enough but we seem to have some real fighting spirit at the moment.

    Fair Result

Our keeper was by far the most busy, but we played extremely well and deserved the late equaliser.

    Just about deserved it

Cardiff looked the most likely to score, when they did it kicked us into life. We seemed like we were happy enough at 0-0 but when they scored we picked up a gear.
Yes the strikers are struggling, they work hard but dont look much of a threat in front of the net, enjoyable enough tho`.
Hope you enjoy the rest of your holiday, just hope you can stand the cold long enough :D :D

Yep, I was very pleased with the performance today.

Even after Sir Jimmy's (poxy so it seemed) goal we came back and kept fighting. Much better team than last season.

    Well deserved.

To be honest I didn't think Cardiff were that much of a threat to Mullers goal. I can't remember him having to make a save. Their goal was pure pocks.

Cardiff played like sugar plum Faireys, if the wind had been blowing they would have been on their backs half the Game. Some of their diving was World Class.

    A very well deserved point

We had a very good spell in 1st half when we needed to score, they came back at us later in 1st half.

Game could have gone either way and a draw was probably fair.

Ref was a complete numpty - booked 2 of our players for what were absolutely brilliant tackles, allowed JFH to audition for the Dutch Olympic diving squad, and bottled it when he should have sent McPhail off following a 2nd bookable offence for a tackle from behind and subsequent dissent.

Muller made a fantastic save first half, one-handed from McPhail after we'd gone to sleep. McPhail shouldn't have given him a chance to save it though, was a golden chance about 8 yards out.

Agree on that about Mullers goal not really being under threat - we were commenting that they were limited to shots from out of the area which you need to do with a player like Fowler.
