These guys appear to me to be doing what the last few owners have done really, trying to make the club self sufficient whilst not plundering millions into the team on a wing and a prayer.......aside from the West Stand drama things are going as pretty much expected........

Or do I need to put my ‘there not from Barnsley or England’ glasses on and join the ACA (anti-Conway army)

    TIA

I think you're bang out of order to essentially accuse anyone of being against our owners of being racist.

    Because its basically ********.

Val was black and forrin. But he was brilliant - so he was lauded.

'The Club' are forrin, but they're **** - so they're criticised.

    A very poor thread.

They haven't got millions to “put in”
I actually would be surprised if they had got anything to put in
    And i am not joking.

I agree. Apart from the West Stand debacle (debacle in terms of timing/reasons not the actual decision), I think they’ve pretty much done what they said they would and what Cryne wanted.

Put aside the supposed lack of payments etc, then in general, the club has done ok, and we’re still breaking even where we can.

We’re in a decent position financially compared to the majority of our competitors, and that can’t be underestimated.

If we were in the top 6, I suggest a lot of what we read, type and hear would be a lot more positive.

So your happy to be second from bottom and be only a couple of points above the bottom club only because theyve had 12 points deducted and be in that position because the board believe last season was a failure because they didn't sell a boat load of players for profit on the back of it. I don't care what creed colour or nationality of our owners are what I care about is that they don't value sporting success above profit generation. I want to cheer goals not the value of the player going up they see it the other way round.

Have they done what they said they would? The matchday experience doesn't seem any better

And how can you say apart from the west stand thing and then later casually mention the lack of payments too?

They deemed a top 6 position a failure because they haven't managed to flog the players who achieved it. Sport is about on field success not profit generation. We'd be in a better financial position if the 80% mob hadn't used club funds to pay off some of the money they owe the 20% mob £750k better off to be exact. They've put nothing in and taken plenty out.
