So do we need wingers at BFC?

    Watching Arsenal tonight and some of the teams that have played us this season I believe we have missed out on a basic essential.
    Who's responsible for that?

    We only sign wingers when we need strikers to be fair

    I’d argue we have at least 5 wingers on our books in Humps, Jalo, Cotter, Farrugia and Lewis.

    It's alright having them on the books but:

    a) they're not reyt good
    b) we don't set up for them to play as wingers

    Yes, and we do have them. We just need to play a system that utilises them. I actually think we'd get the best out of Humps, Jalo and even DKD if we played something like a 4231. Though then, do we have the full backs to play that?

    Arsenal don't have strikers either, due to injuries. Not sure Mikel Merino had ever played as a striker before injuries forced Arsenal to explore other alternatives.

    top priority in the summer -two proper defensive full backs-then play 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 depending on opposition

    Agree wholeheartedly with this, if we brought 2 full backs with a defensive outlook, could play a combination of Connell/Russell/Nwakali as the 2, bring in a striker keep watters as backup

    I think we should play four at the back and need some full backs, although the new lad has looked handy last few games at right back. We have a few wingers so should use them. Not going to happen while Mladen is dictating play though
