i would twist. but that's nothing to do with today's result. i would have said the same even if we'd won.

I'd be happy with Wilson but not Warnock.

Twist. I sense we will be 'sticking', though.

You just get the sense that the club has done nothing this week. They seem to think we have an abundance of time. I really don't understand what they are fooling about at.

They have been waiting to see if Mellon pulled out another result today and then they would have given him the job.

They don't really have any clue or vision as to what they want or where we are going.

That may be incorrect, and it may be doing the board an injustice, and for that I apologise, but it is becoming more of an inescapable view right now in my humble opinion.

I hope I am wrong, but I fully expect them to give it to Mellon. They will wait another week, with nothing happening at all, and if we get any kind of result against Yeovil then Mellon will get it. And I will be mightly disillusioned.

I've got to agree. There certainly doesn't appear to be any vision. And I also expect Mellon to get the job. It's just completely baffling. Mellon has no experience at this level and, ultimately, he was an integral part of the regime that put us here in the first place.
You've got a man in Danny Wilson who is rumoured to be very interested in taking the job, and would go a way to getting fans back on side. I really don't believe the vast majority of fans are crying out for Mellon to be appointed. I sometimes wonder whether the powers that be at Barnsley do it on a purpose.

I think (or at least i hope) that this perceived lack of movement to recruit a new manager is down to the fact that we're just not being so public about it to save the embarrassment of getting publicly turned down by every man and his dog again...

my thoughts as well. ben has always said he'll always go about his business behind closed doors, and comment when there's something to say. that said, they might genuinely just be monitoring results under mellon....who knows
