    theres nowt wrong we bloke, told you 2 months ago that he had become a director. smashing bloke very approachable (in the right manner). get off his back and let him do his job.

    So one wrong decision (that wasn't made by him alone by the way) in 4 - 5 years of running the football club in which time its has been transformed makes him incompetant? Sorry but you're very wrong.

    Can't really comment on him to be fair but he appears to be a 'yes' man for Cryne.

    I don't think any big thing was made of it but it was announced and has been in The Star and Chronicle.

    At least he's not on the team photo this year

    What goes through the head of a general manager that thinks he should be on the team photo, centre front, is way beyond me.

    It was not announced at the time in the Star or the Chronicle although they did report it well after the appointment took place.

    The club did not made a big issue of the appointment as Mr. Rowings role has not changed significantly except that technically he is now a director with all ensuing duties.

    My mistake, the first I heard of it was in todays Chron. On a personal note, I think it's a good appointment. It takes a strong man to stand up in front of people and take the blame for the Liverpool ticket issue. No matter what he decided for that game, he was in a no win situation. (clap)
