I thought the same with Davies but if you watched sharp on the corners he was all over Davies which made it difficult for him to come out and command the area
Davies deservedly man of the march. Would have been dead n buried without him. Rest of em very disjointed and lacking direction and leadership. The club is floating along taking in water in varying quantities an will sink to league 2 without change
He gets that every game someone on him at corners, he needs to barge his way through, cos don't forget the ref likes to protect the little lambs int nets.
Like many at our beloved club, Davies does some things well and others not so. He does not command his box. Hence their goal.
Davies made some good stops and was blocked off at every set piece. Watkins slipped Hamill in perfectly for the Pen. We can keep singling players out but that ain't the issue. I still believe we have players that should perform better but we have changed the starting line up almost every game. Often for no valid reason.
It is hard after the best part of a year to see any pattern or method in our play that suggests our coach coaches. Or even that our players have met each other before lining up.
