Steele is wánk. Woods is a passenger. Dawson *****. Paddy didn't turn up. M'Voto terrible. Nyaytanga terrible. O'Grady very poor. Mellis can't be bothered. Hunt worse than Hassell. Nobody want a pop at Jennings or TK? You know, to complete the set? It's not lost on me that the quotes I'm referring to came from posters (in the main) with a track record for moaning like an old slapper in a bluey. Most of em were at it after we WON three days ago. This forum is golden. You Reds.
I'll second the fact that Kennedy is useless. He proved it several times again tonight. Indecisive and weak as he has been all season.
we've just been taken apart by the best team i've seen at oakwell for a while. on reflection, the best result we could have hoped for was to keep the GD to a minimum. when we needed cranie, ramage and JOB on the pitch, we lost all three. BUT, that's not going to stop me commenting on individual performances Steele - my MOTM, stopped it being a cricket score Woods - offered little to nothing all game Dawson - close run second to Luke for my MOTM. had to do the work of 3, with mellis & mccourt doing **** all Paddy - never broke sweat, rightly subbed. he wouldn't get another kick if i was manager M'Voto - league 2 at best, but was a lot to ask under the circumstances Nyaytanga - can't say i noticed him do too much wrong O'Grady - did the best he could Mellis - dreadful performance Hunt - looked very dodgy defensively. personally i see him more as a right winger with injuries to cranie, damage and now JOB, that could be the final nail for us
Problem is, Whitey, they're right..... Felt a bit sorry for O'Grady and Jennings. They don't get any service whatsoever, apart from the once every 5 minute 30 yard hoof down the left touchline....
It's very rare that I post anymore due to the fact that this place as become so negative but tonight really frustated me. Mellis and McCourt in particular were terrible tonight. They looked disinterested and didn't affect the game whatsoever. M'voto wasn't bad - he was just himself which is useless. There are not any positives to take from tonight at all.
Some fans moan because they dearly want the Reds to do well, both in terms of league position and in terms of entertainment value. I dont think that's necessarily negative and it's not small-minded either
Maybe they are, pal. I'm just sick of the depressing stuff tonight. Ah well, work in 7 hours time. Goodnight all. We're staying up. Remember that. You Reds.
on a positive note . dawson played well , and think we missed jimbos drive and energy . maybe time to throw a few young ones in , as woods etc dont seem interested
