    Which would everybody prefer?
Weds and united fail to get promoted and Doncaster relegated or have all local clubs back in the championship which in turn would hopefully raise our revenue and crowds.

I think you've missed the point. It was still much higher than most of our home crowds this season.

Less than 11,800 for one of our bigger games and that's supposed to be a success?

I think you're missing the bigger picture - over 1,000 down on last season's gate.

    Yes.

More successful than any other game this season and more successful than if the prices had not been reduced.

Maybe when you take into account the fact that attendances at football matches are down this season across the championship

attendances historically have risen after or at Christmas, but with the financial climate even England last game was half empty .
like Manish said on football league show ,BARNSLEY fastest and team rising in the CHAMPIONSHIP.fans come back even in hard times when club is doing well ,miners strike for one.
all we have got to do US and the club ,let everyone know 1) new reduced costs of seeing the REDS ,get new fans on board.
2)let folks know how well we are playing and how pleasurable it is to watch Town
it all goes by word of mouth how you generate new fans.... remember some people probably people who have come to live in the new builds in Barnsley would like to go and watch good football but don't know how or where to go in the ground.
had past experience of people lost on the geography of the stands in the home end (your new supporter ,just make them welcome).

Maybe we should have a new supporters day one game? Target such areas and maybe some of the immigrant community? Bring a new supporter to Oakwell day

I think that's a great idea. Poles are absolutely football crazy, there could be a lot of untapped potential support in the Eastern European community. Whether they would be able to afford to come is another matter, but I'm sure a lot of them would like to attend.
