So how can you actually trust a muslim?

but reading the above article, yes I understand that not all muslims are prone to acts of terrorism etc..

however,

the people who are, are "trained" to blend in and act as normal folk, so in that sense, how can you actually trust a mulsim, knowing that the minority might actually be doing the underground work....

since when was MUSLIM a race, I think you will find its at erm relating to their religion Islam, I know muslims who are of ALL races, so how the hell can he be said to be racist.Racism is acts or comments derogatory to a RACE not a religion not a nationality.. but a Race.

its called fear honey.Its a sad inditement of just how stupid "Man the Wise" truly is. I deal with many race creeds religions colors , in my work and I have no real problems with any..they all have their diamonds they all have their assholes.

 

Precisly but my original point was that Nez's original post WAS based on racism (or whatever fancy word you choose to use). I could just as easily say how can we trust all christians? There are pedophile christians, ok its a very small minority but they are 'trained' to blend in. That's it, all kids should be locked up for their own safety.
How can we trust americans? A small minority of them are murderers so if I hear anyone with an american accent i'm running the other way.

The list is endless yet Nez chose to single out muslims (Again) for his really weird post.

Ok then, remove the word "racism" and use the word prejudice.

It's interesting how the link is to an article on how Muslim groups are condemning the bombings and praising the police and authorities. So from a very positive article it gets twisted around to "How can we trust Muslims?" which leads me to wonder what some people actually want. Firstly Muslim leaders are criticised when they don't come out and openly condemn terrorist actions, and when they do it's "How can we trust them?"
How can we trust any group of people? How could we trust Irish Catholics over the last 40 years? How can I trust anyone I see on the street? After all I hear of muggings and stabbings.

The ridiculous thing about this advert that was taken out is that, according to Radio 5 this morning, the only national newspaper it's in is the Guardian, of all newspapers to place it in I would have thought this was the one that needed it in the least.

I think the comment there about drugs was probably more down to the fact that Paul Reid's eyes look as though he's "out of it"! Just an unfortunate photo.

Doesn't get the same attention? The 2 threads are completely different. I didn't call you racist or prejudice, my use of prejudice was in response to the comment about how can the term racism be used in relation to Muslims.

Now it's become fairly obvious that you've started this thread purely to fire stuff up rather than to debate anything so I'll leave you to it.

There's a massive difference. And he said it WASN'T racism and you said it WAS. You were wrong.

Well - you could always loan him a few grand & see if he gives it back within an agreed timescale?
