1. Think 'I got here playing for KH, better sign that contract' or 2. 'I'm never going to get a first team place unless I move to a bigger club' I hope its the first, but suspect it will be the latter :frown:
Or he realises theres loads of other kids his age with currently more potential, so needs to knuckle down and improve for another season.
He will have made a few mates, found out what they are on per week, and want to leave more than ever, not got a cat in hells chance of him signing a new contract on the amounts that we will be offering/paying at the moment ......... but I hope I'm wrong
I think I have to agree with you Albatross. There's no way he'll sign. His head has been well and truly turned now.
Pure speculation Tina, but just say we've offered him £5k a year, he tells that to one of his new England pals, who happens to be on at least double that at any bigger club than us, that lad tells him he would be daft to sign on for £5k a week, but also says 'I'll tell my gaffer what BFC are offering you, and also that you are a top player, he will then come and have a look at you and every chance you will get offered at least what I'm on' .... I bet that wouldn't be a million miles away from what could happen
he is on his way matey..I have no doubts about that our best bet is to sell him before his contract is up and make a half decent profit. But knowing us we will bugger about and get some pittance set by a tribunal.
Mmmm, yes, I can see that happening. In fact, it's probably what happens all the time when players get talking to each other!
Re: he is on his way matey..I have no doubts about that Seems his new best mate at the U21's was Chelsea's McEachran, he probably loaned Roman's yacht for his lads holiday in Ibiza last year, Butts was in a pedalo in Salou.....highest bidder wins.
