making noises like he wants to get em straight back etc etc....then what about Flicker if we go down. I seriously hope he doessthe same. Especially after all the rheroric and jingoism he has spouted abouted how "This bunch of players are special" etc. if we go down and he buggers off (Danny Wilsonesque) then thats gonna really hurt not just me, but a helluva lot of Reds.
Well It certainly won't happen before the weekend. Once Saturday's game is out of the way, I think there'll be some movement on the matter.
RIGHT gonna put you on the spot My friend... answer this? Assume we go down. Doyou think we will be managed by David Flitcroft nextseason. He said something in a recent interview that said to me NO.
I thought about that anall, but would be very suprised if he did, not just if we go down either, because he has seen whats occured with KHiller and then he would have to start afresh with another bunch of players. So early in his managerial career with this back room staff and bringing the club together like he has, that can be hard to achieve at another club in the little time managers get nowadays. At the moment he has summat most managers dream of and thats a unified club. Off like his arse is on fire it is then.
you have obviously spotted... my "Devil's Advocate" stance here. Seriously Kev as we stand now I will tell you this. Of course I want us to stay up and will be totally gutted if not. But If we do go down my hope is we keep Mr Flitcroft. IF that happens I will have massive, massive hope. If not the its gonna be back to the age old Oakwell side show.
Were we to be relegated I believe we'll lose a number of our better players. It certainly isn't stitched on, as some appear to think, that we'll bounce back immediately. However, it is my opinion promotion is likelier to be achieved with Flitcroft at the helm, rather than bringing in someone new.
Re: Possibly oh without doubt, just thinking if the worst were to happen, he wouldn't be the worst person to turn to. Didn't he take Crawley up or someone like that?
Re: Possibly Flicker has said that he wants the job, whatever league we are in. I think we should offer him a contract before someone pinches him. There are a few clubs getting ready to change gaffers.
Fleetwood I agree with what you're saying, mate. It's just that I believe David Flitcroft will be our manager next season. Hopefully, in the Championship. But, if not, then in Division 1.
Jingoism? I really don't want to be a grammar nazi, but not having the slightest clue of the meaning of words you are using is pish poor. Please look it up.
