A success this season Is an improvement on last season. I still htink 60 point should be our target. However, ultimately staying up is our first priority
Every season we avoid relegation is a successful season. Because of the size of our fan base. Chuck a decent cup run in and that's a mega season.
At the start of the season I'd have said a place higher/more points than last season is a successful season. However - given the start we had, then just merely avoiding relegation will not be a successful season.
No doubt about it. Staying in the Championship with such a bunch of moaning minnies for fans has to be a success story on par with landing men on the moon. This board is a manic depressives dream. One minute we are just like watching Brazil the next we are a worse team than Wednesday. Sheffield Wednesday I ask you. **** club, **** fans , **** ground, and **** Sheffield.
I think we should be aiming to get at least 60 points, if we do then its a good season if not , but we stay up then its no better than last season. And of course we are better than Wednesday.FFS
RE: At the start of the season The good start to season was due to a lot of loan players, since they went back to there clubs we have had an unsettled side of players that are not good enough for this leauge. The Manager and board have done their best to bring them back if we stop up there is a great base of players to build a very strong squad for next season. So this season has been successful as long as we avoid the drop, evan in same place as last year.
if we stay up its a result. we must be among the smallest 6 clubs in the division in terms of money and support. stay up and weve done well.
We've spent an awful lot of money And brought in a hell of a lot of players if all we were aiming for was a repeat of last season.
I'd Say So Although we have won only one away game all season, barring maybe 4 games (Leicester,Plymouth,Coventry and Qpr), and Ive been to every away game this season, I cant remember when we havent been in the game right down to the wire. Compare that to last season, when we were constantly getting stuffed. Get a good centre half, midfielder and finisher in, sort our away form out, I think next season we'll certainly be looking at top half of the league, and who knows, in this league, top half could easily mean top 6.
