    I alwys thought that when a team went up, the object was survival the first season, consolidation the next few, before a playoff push.

    But in our circumstances what will change next year - surely the revenues will not raise, the fanbase will probably not go up. How will we have more money to be in a better position (unless we will have less debt to service).

    Obviously i am not knowledgeable in these areas, and generally teams that stay up do tend to 'push on' and improve - why is this, and would the same factors apply to the REDS.

    Not all teams push on and progress. Luton, Hull and QPR havn't. Like you say we will probably struggle because we are never gonna be able to improve our wage structure due to the lack of revenue at the club. Unless Shep and Cryne suddenly start putting money in. So back on planet earth we will struggle again.
