due to injuries I wonder if fans will remeber this before complaining; http://www.teamtalk.com/football/story/0,16368,1812_5333472,00.html Fair play to PC very open and honest but it could be seen a ricky to reduce the squad size, extra pressure on SD in the transfer market then!
If we get rid of the players who aren't good enough.. Odejayi & El Haimour, then there's room for a few good players.
Increased attendances... ...require increased optimism, not just reduced season ticket prices. On the basis of another season with that clown in charge, I haven't renewed.
If we're to reduce squad size Then we're obviously not signing any players. We've only released 4 players.
RE: If we're to reduce squad size Surely this is the thinking behind not having a reserve team?

Hold on a minute £20 x 10,000 season tickets = £200,000, assuming we sell the same volume and last year we had 10k ST holders. Thats two players on £2k a week (and thats assuming we don't get any transfer income from them). Shouldn't be too much of a loss then.
Plus the 4 on loan. AndI guess they would take into account the ones who left towards the end of last season which was probably due to the new policy.
So, Simon's original master plan of 2 players for every position, competition and that, looks to have gone out of the window. Interesting.
