So in summary; if Morgan had been given a ban; or if SUFC had done the decent thing themselves

it seems BFC & Hume would have been willing to let it drop.

It would appear that they were waiting for the FA to act & would possibly have abidided by their punishment. No action means they have to act.

Nice on FA / SUFC. Much better scenario for all concerned.

they have just made morgans life hell imho

if they had punished him that would have drawn a line under it - now its going to drag on for months - even years.

    Well - tuff **** Morgan!

Just a shame the FA have been too spineless to act after they have had their fingers well n truly burnt with the west ham saga.

Will they ever do the right thing!!!???? Crap.

think it was a case of call my bluff.

Perhaps the FA have underestimated our resolve??

    Thinking the same myself

Could backfire on FA, take action against Morgan and win then take action against ***** U. as his employer they have a responsibility for their employee's actions. Also take action against ref for his deriliction of his duty of care to players in his charge, then (full circle) take action against FA as the refs employer as they also have a responsibility for their employee's actions (or lack of). I know in theory the FA dont actually employ the refs (some other outfit apparently) but they must be contracted somehow to the FA and any junior HR/Health and Safety officer will tell you all organisations are responsible for all employees in their charge including outside contractors.

They could have extinguished the situation instead of fanning the flames

If they can't find it within their powers to deal with a situation like this, then they need to change their policies.

Their inability to find closure for everyone means that the bad feeling will go on & on.
