I have to agree its a very very slender chance for us ... but take a serious look at ALL the remaining fixtures and it could still go to the last day. its a very long shot and would mean us having to win all our remaining games and hope that the others, especially now Chesterfield, trip up. But heres a thought perhaps on the last day Hilldale may come to us needing nothing else but a win.... they go 1 up... they go 2 up, then we get one back..... the fourth official raises the board in the second half .... 5 minutes added time.... we go into the last 90 seconds.. FOUL ... in the box its a penalty..... to Hilldale ... Keefy grins and begins to rub his hands and salivate.... the taker strides forward ... the ref blows .... he shoots ..... DAVIES makes a remarkable save and then punts it up field.... WINNALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL 2-2... Keefy breaks down the Ponty erupts into song KEEFY KEEFY WHATS THE SCORE KEEFY WHATS THE SCORE
Baz you shouldn't take your tablets with red wine.Go and sit in a darkened room and control your breathing.
Its over without a doubt But we are going to finish where I thought we would And imo that's a decent position considering the changes Next season I expect better Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
agreed I was always gonna be happy with a middle 8 finish this term... but now I think a top 8 is possible... and certainly top 10. Considering the last couple of seasons, and the turmoil of it all, that would not be a bad achievement
Re: agreed Over last Saturday. Looking for a strong finish and some attacking football now the pressure is off.
Its over, we had to win today to keep any lingering hopes alive. Time to look forwards to next season.
Whoooooooooooooooooshhhhhhh you have totally missed the point my lovely lady I am saying that we would be the ones to ruin Keefys season on the very last day... try counting frogs and stuff , it may help shall I go stand on the naughty step now
do any on here actually read past a first sentence??? I was attempting some light hearted look as to how important we can still be in the grand design of it all... or is that too hard for some of you to grasp.
Easter finished us off. Even if we'd won today I didn't think us capable of winning the rest, which we'd have to do. The games we have left are mostly big games for the opposition though, and their rivals, so we've got to try and win them. The Hill factor adds a bit of spice for the end of season mind.
