Huddersfield are poised to complete the loan signing of West Bromwich Albion midfielder Ronnie Wallwork.

Wallwork, 30, will join for one month after regaining full fitness following a stabbing incident last December.

"We needed someone in midfield with experience that could hit balls around. I see him as a steadying influence," boss Andy Ritchie told Town's website.

Ritchie signed the former Manchester United player on loan for Barnsley last season before being sacked days later.
