And we've made one signing. One signing when we need about a minimum of 14.

    Marvellous.

Now we can look forward to:

a repeat of 2014 when we splashed out to send the u18s & a few seniors abroad before assembling a proper squad.

Panic deals & quick fix loans.

A painful August where we'll hear the words 'gel together' over & over again because it is a good excuse when you're losing all too often.

p.s I thought they were gonna get the business done early? Yes I know it's tough & we need to entice people to buy season tickets but spare us the the utter bullsh*t for one year at least!

an extremely silly thing to say.

Pre season tests are in 17 day. Most other clubs are going for it. Our managers gone on yet another holiday, and have got one player from the second tire of Scottish Football.

Even the top clubs are going at it. The Champions via Conte are been ruthless with spearhead Costa told he's got to leave.

Counting the days down to my hip operation so I can't get out much at the moment.
Our lass didn't bring any papers in for me to look at today when she came back from work
so I've spent part of the day reading some of her specialist magazines.

It's amazing some of the things you can read in them and uncanny that a lot of them feature similar topics.

For example Women's Health was advising women how to reach orgasm.
Cosmopolitan discussed how they might have one with style and
in Woman's Weekly there was a pattern showing how to knit one.!!

Have you forgotten our managers name? By the way all employees are entitled to 5.6 weeks leave minimum which they must take or lose. Would you rather him take time off mid season?

They have time off at every international break.

Sorry. I didn't realise the world stood still during international breaks. You remembered his name yet by the way?

Posted similar a few days ago.
As usual got a few daft comments from the hard of thinking.
Conclusion - it's very difficult to be a Barnsley fan at the moment if you have a caring side to your character.

Grow up. You are not a Barnsley fan. Stop pretending that you are. You hate this club, this town and the people in it. You have a long and colourful history of slagging off everything and everyone from Barnsley. And you know the reason? Because you're ******* jealous.

I care pal. I care that much that I went to all 49 reds games last season.

I just don't care for serious **** at 9.30 on a Friday evening, so I thought I'd make light of things.

The original post is mostly projection, yet you defend it as if it's a certainty, and call the rest of us "hard of thinking"?

Come on Phil, give Hecky a break. He's not going to get another chance for a holiday until next summer. Just because he's a football manager doesn't mean he shouldn't have a break. The real work will start when he gets back and he can work with the new CEO.

He hasn't jumped ship nor left us in the sh*t and Hecky is the last person you should be saying this about. I think it's more than a little unfair and inaccurate.

Sorry Hemmsie but Niamh Walsh is a cracker, Hecky's entitled to as much holiday as he needs and I'd rather we waited for the players we want than just having random bodies in by an artificial deadline.

People give Young Nudger stick on here but he's right, Heckingbottom will come out with the same excuses he did last season if he start slow. It's not my fault we started slow. We got the players in late.

I'm putting it out there that it's now we need to be talking to players. HE'S the one that agreed to go to this training camp in 3 weeks. Which will be a plus for the players at the club but will make it hard for us to get players in.

And come off it with the Holidays and he's only Human. Been at a Football Clubs not like other positions. It's a 24/7. high gains for what he does. When he leaves Barnsley he'll have 6/12 months off.

sam Allardyce Couldn't stand the heat in the kitchen so got out.

HE comes out with comments but like another person we see goes missing when the words need to be put into action. ''We have our plans set'' ''We need to start quick in recruitment'' ''It's the most important time of the season''
