So I've just bought an Xbox 360...

with Pro Evo and Call of Duty 4...what other games are 'must buy'? I'm wanting 'skate', and maybe need for speed although I'm not sure how good the new one is.</p>

Assassins Creed is apparently very good. And most people with a 360 tend to have Halo 3.

 

Gears of war is fantastic you want to get that defo

I've played gears of war, but I'm a bit crap at it, and still don't really see what all the fuss is about</p>

 

Thats fair enought i've only had a go on multiplayer but i thouraly enjoyed it especially the way you can blend into the graphics, e.g hide in the dark

I suggest Gears of War and Halo 3 if you are using xbox live. Also Rainbow 6 Vegas, Ghost Recon if you like like this shooter and team play style. X-Box Live is a must.

NHL 07 ( 08 is also out now) and PGR is good plus Guitar Hero is Brill.

 

I was thinking of getting Halo, seems like a quality game. I might check out NHL...what's PGR? And yeah...guitar hero might be worth getting for a more 'fun' game

If you go to HMV..

They have buy one get one free on certain 360 games. They price them at 50quid each, but most of those games are still 40quid in most places, so you'll save about 30quid.

A few games in the buy one get one free part were Gears of War and Project Gotham Racing.

 

Is the Xbox360 region specific

Or would games bought in the US work without having to modify a UK console?
