If roles were reversed, and they were, how may Leeds fans hoped/would hope, we survived?

I did the bucket-rattle-ing at he Bristol City game, during admin days, and the comments then were less than favourable.

Would you really give a toss, if Leeds went under? No really.

    Yes I would

I'd much prefer to see them struggle in the bottom 2 leagues for 10 years. That way their real fans see football, and I get the satisfaction of seeing the Reds being a superior side for that time. As long as possible in fact.

    Fair point.

Like Leeds falling into the pit of the mighty Sarlacc!!! Like it!

My dad's been a Leeds fan since he was a kid and used to take me to the Champions League games because he doubted I'd ever see Barnsley in that competition so I've kind of had a soft spot for them.

I'd be gutted if they went bust, but more for my dad. He'd never support someone else and so he'd be left with nothing.

It's like when someone commits a horrible crime, you want them to suffer inside rather than get the death penalty!

Wish I was back in Wakefield hearing what the scum fans in those pubs are saying these days.

I'm going to enjoy watching them suffer. I wonder how many people are walking round Wakefield in Leeds shirts today?

    To be fair to them

At work on Friday dress down day, or in the gym there are still quite a few Leeds shirts on show. Though I think mainly that is people who are from Leeds but work in Halifax

I'm just used to the usual Leeds way

When things are going well 80% of West Yorkshire drag there Leeds shirts out, and when things are going badly suddenly everyone says "I've always been a rugby man, thats my sport, Leeds Rhinos", and the Leeds shirts gather dust for a few months

    i hate rotherham more...well all s.yorks clubs!
they suffered a penalty last season and got their just desserts,
leeds thought they'd got away with it,but :D
end of the day,i dont want to see any club go under regardless, even if it means conference football eventually!
hope an appeal dont bring it down either
clubs break rules and have to pay the price, except whu!!

    RE: Yes I would

We have a long way to go before we can emulate anything that Leeds United have done. They may be encountering problems but their history speaks for itself. I hope one day we can achieve such feats as winning the top flight and making the Champions League. Is it just a dream?

Unfortunately for leeds we are not living in the past and right now they are a struggling division 3 club. I am loving it and want it go on for a while but I wouldn't want to see any club go to the wall. 15 - 20 points and another relegation will do.
