A 15 year old lad who has consensual sex with his 15 year old girlfriend will get treated exactly like a bloke who rapes a 7 year old, in regard to being able to work in schools. I suppose it's a way of closing up any loopholes but seems rather harsh. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/4625126.stm
They are going to struggle to find any male teachers soon The rules are so strict, that any male teacher wrongly accused by a girl of anything will be out of work. As a man why take the risk. We already have massively more female teachers than males (particularly in junior schools) Where are the male role models going to come from? Even at university level, I have to keep my office door open if I have a female student in the room. and its a glass door!!
Some of the "paedophiles" who are getting the red top's flack at the moment are teachers who have been accused of assault by pupils. To prevent themselves being dragged through the mire of a trial etc, with the resultant publicity, shame etc they have accepted a caution. In the future these people are now unemployable under the new rules to be implemented. So even though this may have been the result of a malicious accusation by some girl with a dislike of a particular teacher, his career is effectively over even though he may have done absolutely nothing. The fact that everyone will say better be safe than sorry will re-enforce this. So why be a teacher at all? Just how stupid are people? Stupid enough to attack the properties lived in by paediatricians (courtesy of the N of the W outing campaign), those bloody child molestors.
Are you referring To those chaps who might like a lady to **** on said glass top, whilst lying underneath ?
It doesn't include wrongly accused! It only includes cautions, which implies that they might be close to a conviction. You don't get caution for being found not guilty.
RE: Are you referring And other activities. Give me a glass topped coffee table, a lass from Stockport, and I'll give you the world.
