Not content with shoving some loyal away supporters to the back of the ticket queue the season ticket holders, many of whom hardly travel at all, now have the opportunity to let their friends and family into the queue with them including those who haven't been to any matches at all? Once again I bet those young lads who can't afford to fork out for the season all at once but have hardly missed a match are feeling well appreciated. Those wet Tuesday nights at the arse end of the country supporting the reds to where they are now will seem well worth while. Still ne' mind eh? We probably won't sell out so they can pick through the left-overs. They'll get a good view of all the new flags from the top corner.
Only too true.... I can't see us selling out but I do see your point.
Maybe we could get Supertyke to write a plan?

Heres the answer.. 20 different home or away ticket stubs = season ticket entitlement.
Sorted.
No arguments.

Sounds fair. And no "guests." Might sound a bit harsh but it's not as harsh as Mrs ST who's never been to a football match getting in before the hard core fans.
RE: Sounds fair. So ar lasses 11 year old lad has to sit away from me then? Everyone who wants a ticket will get one, I don't see the problem (apart from this exiled thing)....most people who go to games will probably know a season ticket holder.
I sent the following e-mail to the club earlier I have attended 22 out of 23 home games this season + the First leg of the playoff semi. I have to wait until Monday before I can get tickets for Cardiff. I understand that season ticket holders should take some priority but as a loyal matchday payer that should count for something. I will be sitting at home on Sat & Sun this weekend when I'm off work and then take an unpaid morning off work on Mon (I'm self employed) to get I'm guessing one of the cheaper, poorer tickets that is left.Meanwhile season tickets holders can buy 4 each and give 3 to non home game attendee's. I realise that it is difficult to arrange ticketing for this final that is fair to everyone but a lot of people who pay on the gate at home games are being left behind here and as a consequence will be sitting in the cheaper seats. Why can't on Saturday people with season tickets and say "xx" or more ticket stubs be allowed to pick up tickets?.
and I got this reply David Thanks for your email, the contents of which have been noted. A decision has been taken to allocate the tickets in the manner explained, we do not anticipate that all the tickets will be sold prior to next weekend, basically because we dont expect every season ticket holder to take their allocation of 4 tickets. To create a precedent at this time would leave both the supporters and staff in turmoil. Kind regards General Manager
No. If you want to sit with him you can get a ticket with him. "Everyone who wants a ticket will get one, I don't see the problem."
I wonder if they actually read the mails they're replying to. "Sod off, we don't give a ****" would be more honest.
Yes .... because Barnsley are the only club in the country to give priority to season ticket holders No other club anywhere in the league gives priority to the season ticket holders - so therefore our club are the scum of the earth for taking this unprecedented action.
Some reds got beaten up last night......... ......but hey! Huddersfiled are the only club with hooligans. ******* hell.
Agreed. I couldnt go to huddersfield because the season ticketholder got the glory hats on. Where were they on a chilly tuesday night in colchester?
Hang on a minute me and me brother are st holders but we aint going to buy eight tickets between us, calm down 29k to go round.
work fecking saturdays no point. Only manage midweek games and the odd saturday ones. managed about 17 games this season.
And your average season ticket holder has managed 23 ... so why shouldn't they get Huddersfield tickets above you? I can't believe that I'm actually reading all posts complaining that season ticket holders are getting preferential treatment. It happens at every single club the length and breath of the country. It's hardly a new thing either, it's been the same season in season out ... anyone would think that this has come out of the blue. If anyone of the no doubt comitted fans, but non season ticket holders, seriously thought at the start of the season, or indeed at any time during in it, that would enjoy the same status as a season ticket holder then you/they were being totally naive. Granted I've spent a total of zero minutes researching this but doubt you'd find any team in the country that would give priority to anyone producing ticket stubbs than they would a season ticket holder. On top of that, as others have said, there is absolutely no way on earth that season ticket holders will take four tickets each and even if they did there would still be plenty left on general sale. I'm off to match with two other season ticket holders. Out of a potential 12 tickets we'll be buying 6. What I really can't understand though is that people act as though this is something new and something wrong ... bizarre.
RE: Some reds got beaten up last night......... ******* hell is right Windy ... them two things are just the same aren't they (doh)
I managed all but 1 home game....other stuff on for away games so same applies. I'm getting a total of 8 tickets with 3 season tickets (so 2/3rds what we could get).
