We have 4 matches left to pick up at least 5 or 6 points to be safe. 1. Reading away - How many away games have we won this season ? Reading are pushing to keep in the play offs and - Points here nil 2. Coventry away - remember last time we were at Coventry away we were thrashed, we can't expect them to lie down and lose their Manager is on a knive edge. Points 1 possibly 3. Wolves at home - We are xpecting they will already be promoted and Mcarthy will instruct his team to lose, for old times sake. What utter rubbish they are top of the table and need to ensure they get the Chapionship title. Just think of the headlines if we were to beat them, there would be an FA enquiry, surely - points nil 4. Plymouth away - We are now in the desperate situation of having to win this with a draw being no good. Can anybody predict Davey's tactics for this 5-4-1 with lone striker up front definately trying to avoid defeat and hoping for a win. Recipe for dissaster and we will lose at least by two goals - points nil The only hope we have is for the removal of Davey and put the survival directly in the hands of the players with possibly Moore or Foster in charge for the 4 games.
Why do we think that Foster will do a good job? The bloke is only 20 odd, is in his first season as club captain, and has no experience in coaching or management whatsoever. I can see the thinking with Moore, but Foster?
RE: Why do we think that Foster will do a good job? Only because he is club captain and seems to have the respect of the players, although I agree re Moore he is an experienced player with premiership experience. However any alternative to the current situation would be a bonus.
I don't want this to sound all cliched but.... It's too late to change the pilot at this stage- we're coming in to land and wehave to go with what we've got.
Once down willprovide theideal opportunity tomake changes, but this isn't the time.

There'll be an FA inquiry if we beat Wolves? What are you on about? Was there one when Plymouth won at Wolves and Forest won at Reading on the same weekend?! Dunt be daft.
RE: There'll be an FA inquiry if we beat Wolves? Sorry but the gist of my was that some on here are suggesting that Mcarthy would let us win for 'old times sake' the result would be we would win and stay up. Regardless of previous results, just look at our form lately and ask yourself, would it be construed as suspicious.
No it wouldn't If Wolves are already up by then, and I think they will be, hopefully they'll turn up expecting to win easily and get a nasty shock. We beat Birmingham to stay up 2 years ago, and they eventually went up. No reason why we can't do it again.
Also tho, no evidence to say our players and the backroom staff have the balls to pull this out of the bag.
