    Interestingly, that shot by Frank Lampard a few years ago was even further over the line that that own goal last night. Thank goodness for goal line technology eh? Although, to be fair, I think the referee gave it straight away, probably because her lineswoman was up with the play.

    Didn't find it all that interesting to be honest. Recorded it and watched a lot on fast forward. I know it's wrong to say this, but it's not a proper game of football is it? I know lot of male players act like wounded schoolgirls half the time, but the standard (even at this level) is at best tame, and at worst, amateurish.

    Fair play to them for getting so far but it says a lot for womens' football when the world cup final is going to involve the USA and Japan.

    Probably. Didn't mean to be. Just not the game for me.

    Nice to see the good behaviour on the pitch though. No hassling the ref despite two dodgy penalties.
