I like this The Scottish Conservatives said using riot police was an "overreaction". If you were ever struggling to find a reason not to be associated with the conservatives this is a great example. Hard on crime? Yer having a laugh.
small minority my arse theres dozens of videos on you tube and the like already. the rangers fans are all jamming the radio phone in shows saying it was a minority of fans. how come all the videos shown at loads of different spots around the city centre identify thousands upon thousands rioting then?? i hope the manchester police throw some staff at this, get 3000 images from tv / cctv all over the press, identify the lot of them and then lock everyone up. just like west yorkshire police did with the bradford rioters. especially the super hard 2 dozen who laid the boot in to the lone copper who ended up on the floor, defenceless. they are scum. but it was a minority, when there was around 100,000 in the city most of them were just their to enjoy the occassion and did just that.
if you put it that way, it was a minority. but on rangers fc website, they are saying 200 caused trouble and the rest were like angels. have a look at the dozens of videos and there were at least 5000 involved. the cctv from the copper being kicked in has at least 1000 rampaging through the streets. losers. every last one of them. if it were english abroad, it wouldnt be getting ignored like this. what a joke.
agree about the english thing, but i was their yesterday and throughout the day it was just one big party and the atmosphere was top notch. the violence was always going to happen especially when they lost. even the police expected it, they were geared up well before kickoff
in italy, 2 man utd fans have spent about 4 months in jail due to a minor skirmish v roma earlier in the season. theyve been let out now after being forced to plead guilty. if at least 1500 of these scum are not identified and prosecuted its a joke. im sure the 'decent' majority wont mind identifying the scum from photos printed in the local press in weeks to come so they can get arrested and dealt with.
