Does Iceman play centrally? Its a tought one with all of them fit. Can't leave Hammill or JCR out, similarly so, Colace needs to play to protect the back four. Maybe this could be the kick up the arse that Anderson needs?
Adam and coulson are both strikers and should be nowhere near the midfield JCR should never set foot in the middle of the park again and we haven't signed Thompson yet. JCR/Devaney ADS/Colace/Thompson Iceman/Butterball/Hammill JCR/Iceman/Devaney/Hammill For me Hammill has to stay out wide for now. He's the best winger we've had for a good few years so Davey should for once play someone in their best position instead of moving them around and trying to turn them into brian howard. This iceman sounds like he could be alright but we've not seen him play yet so he should be on the bench for now. No point in throwing him in if he's not going to be better than what we've got and certainly no point in moving players out of position for him without seeing how he goes first.
You still need international clearance The FA that previously held his registration has to pass it on to our FA.
That's for a work permit International clearance is the registration details that get passed between different 'FA's'.
How many more times will this come up Moving from one FA to another requires international clearance, not to be confused with work permits, it's just to say that the FA from the other country have approved the move and paperwork in order.
You're all right of course I was thinking of work permits. International clearance can be completed in one day though can't it? It's only when you start messing around trying to nick aouth american players when their club doesn't want him to leave that you get a problem
Jamil Adam has never even played a game for the first team I don't think it should be set in stone that he is a striker. Coulson has played only a few games for the first team and has been used as much on the wing as he has up front. For my money he looked much better as a winger. Many youngsters play one position in junior football but an entirely different one when they move in to senior football. They are young and adaptable and you can't say they should be nowhere near midfield. They have time to blossom in to any position.
Campbell-Ryce Andeson Butterfield Hammill. No point changing it whilst we're playing okay. We've never even seen this new lad play, who knows what kind of player he is.
No he won't need a work permit It all depends how long the clearance takes... ie how efficient the FAs are. Colace's took ages if you remember, deal nearly fell through. And it wasn't his work permit as Davey was complaining about the Argentinian FA.
Adam played on the wing in a few friendlies this season and did nothing, played up front in spain and scored 3. He did the same last season in friendlies when he was played up front, scored a few if I recall correctly and looked like our best striker. And in the reserves last season he scored quite a few from up front. I think he should definetly stick to being a striker and not a winger. Coulson looked ok on the wing but nothing special, looked much better up front with good service to him. Lazarus on the other hand looked quite good on the wing in a few friendlies that I saw, certainly better than some of the 'proper' wingers we've had in recent years
Hammill , Butterfield , Colace And JCR Colace came second in the player of the year award so deserves his place over ADS. Plus we can't really drop Butterfield with the form he's in and the fact he's our only central midfield goal threat.
