So reading this board today....

Davey told someone at the open day that he expects 3 or 4 signings this week, but told Radio Sheffield none of the trailist will be getting contracts......

So who do we think the 3 or 4 players are???

Hamill, Gray and Adam from the rumours on here, but to me that still leaves us waffer thin at the back, a couple of injuries/suspensions and we would be knackered!!!

 

No doubt Iain Hume, back from injury, will be a new player nt

 

Did Davey say the other week that Luke Potter would play a big part or was expecting big things from him or something on those lines?

Could it be possible Davey sees him as cover for central defence. Anyone seen Potter play in the centre of defence?

against Stan lot.... looked really confident there.

Playing as a central defender against some of the strikers in this division would be a big ask for a young lad if its not his preferred position, sayin that Lewin didnt do a bad job for us. I would be happy for him to play at full back and then in time move into the centre when he has some experience at this level.
