How did Colace look? What about JCR, or Muller?

1-2 white ***** who looked a better, bigger (surprise, surprise) outfit for most of the 1st Half. Missed the first l**ds goal which I heard took a deflection. 2nd l**ds goal was a well hit cross which mas met with a solid header giving Muller no chance.

2nd half reds were much brighter. JCR looked a class above the rest, Mostto won lots in the air and had a decent game looking more focused but had few chances. Took his chance well when it eventually came. Colace did reasonably well with a few classy long passes but seemed a bit lost overall and did not win as many tackles as I would have expected. Had a decent free kickwell stopped. I think communication is probably an issue but it was his first competitive game. Muller did well enough throughout and seemed to come through OK. All the rest did OK but with no team sheet and unfamiliarity with the youngsters I cant comment.

It seems all the decent 6 foot midfielders / forwards go elsewhere as ours look all to lack stature compared to l**ds and other reserve / youth sides I have seen (not many, granted)

    RE: me

    Cheers

Does Mostto deserve a chance? Could he make a difference?

By the sounds of it then, Colace isn't a defensive midfielder in the typical sense if he wasn't tackling much. Does he look lightweight too?

Can't wait for JCR to return to the first team either.

and muller saved a pen before leeds scored

    quality save.

Rice pudding did well and also Rob atkinson had a very good game - won most things in the air and their attacker was a lanky sod so did well.

    No

I would not say he was lightweight. Quite solid really but just did not seem to get into the game. Looks more of a play maker to me if his team mates ever get the message to pass!

    Possibly

a few more reserve games and we'll get a better picture. I would be surprised? to see him start a game for the first team.

I think Mostto should get a chance if we don't start scoring regularly and I mean more than 2 minutes. Trouble is its hard to see who will make way unless Hume moves left. Maybe Macken will make way if he cant start scoring??

    RE: Mostto

Give him a chance, he looks lively and took his chance really well tonight, he also gets up well and wins more than his fair share in the air

One or two thingsneed ironing out, like pushing/ blocking players when he did not get the ball but in all I was happy in what I saw in the lad.(Y)

Da Silva gives us a bit of height in midfield which we are sadly lacking. Macken went up for every high ball with his left hand above his head against Derby. Best forward line for me is Hume and KO.
