Well. seeing as they are bottom of the league, they have some winning to do then....

plus,

shipperly did a brilliant job for us years ago, he is not the answer now.

 

we sold him 4/5 years ago and have never replaced him

the start of spackmans demise and every other manager since,and Davey could be the next if he dose'nt find us a striker.Shipps is not the answer btw best striker we've had this century though.

 

Not disputing what you are saying, but davy knows what is needed, he can't do it in 2 days flat like

everyone wants, these things take time.

assembling a decent squad takes time, and what davy has mostly got is what ritchie had put in place, maybe davy wants to change a few things, and lets face it, he has sorted out a pretty decent left back, but colgan a bit of pressure, took the chance with atkinson (and I thought he did well, and will continue to do well). backed up the CM spot,

all positions that fans are screaming for.

all I am saying is, give the bloke a chance, this board has become too negative in 99% of posts

but i suppose he cut it for the Blunts at this level last season

That's absolute tosh! he's never been overated, he's a good pro who's done a good job whoever he played for.

Shipps is overrated now as most people on here think he can be a good striker for us. Says it all that he's gone to League 1. Leon Knight was overrated and people clambered for his signature

Shipps would have been ideal for us the rest of this season. A very good player! Most Barnsley fans loved him when he was here. Critisism of him seems a little bit strange to me given the service he gave us.

greatplayer when we had him,but the shipps of today isvery injury prone and signing him would have been a big risk.
