Are you sure they're the same people? I don't think they are.

    not naming names but

personally i would of course much rather see the style of footy we were playing early doors but it wasnt working for us, at least if we get a foothold in this league we have a better base to start improving from

    Surely In List Of......

    priorities it goes.....

    1. Win match at all cost to get up the league and away from the relegation zone.
    2. The start to think about playing pretty football more when we are in more of a position to do so.

    True.

It just makes me laugh that a number of people being all holier than thou about their views on 'winning ugly' are among those who have been crying out for Nads to start during the entertaining period 'cos he'd bury the chances that Richards and Wright were missing and costing us games.

Suddenly, the experienced centre forward and additional defender theorum has been proven right by a change in tactics, formation, a total revamp of the midfield and a total lessening in entertainment value.

    And us 'moaners' are fickle?

Forgive my lack of comprehension skills but that post of yours Gaz doesn't make any sense at all!

We'd all prefer to watch the kind of football we were playing under Wilson BUT

If we get relegated very few of the people calling for pretty and entertaining football will be going down to the 'Well anyway.

    RE: True.

Made sense when I typed it: Lack of sleep, I reckon.

Most people on here have been saying "all we need is a centre forward" to make Ritchie's formation and tactics work. Too many posts to count have urged people to go to matches 'cos it's the best football they've seen in years, and the only berating AR seemed to get was not starting with Nads, who it was widely acclaimed was the missing piece in the jigsaw. "He wouldn't have missed that sitter Wright/Richards/Hayes did", which would have put us 2-0 up and opened the game up more giving us more chances to score etc.

Now, many of the self same people are having a go at those of us who don't subscribe to the 'win ugly' theories and basically trying to make it seem that they were right all along.

Just enjoying the hypocrisy of it all.
