    Surely....

    ....from an England point of view you would prefer Pakistan to go through to the Super 8's since you beat them plus you would assume Pakistan have a better chance of winning games against the other teams.

    RE: Surely....

    i remember early 90's when we blitzed pakistan in auz/nz world cup,
    bowled em out for something like 70, it rained and they got a draw to sneak them thru,
    they then went on to beat us in the final
