Personally despite him breaking my heart and forcing me into tears i wont be booing him.

Unfortunatly I'd be surprised if most people will be the same as me though.

Well if he is picked what is the point in booing him. Surly that will dent his already low confidence and will not help the team at all.

We need to get behind the team as much as possible in the next 6 games.

What good would it do to boo him....

we're precariously perched at the wrong end of the table, our strikers are woefully low on confidence and all booing would do is amplify that feeling ten fold!
Get behind em or we'll have no chance of surviving! (titanic)

    RE: I won't

You're right and they'll be the ones who say "he should have scored" when they've knocked what confidence he's got out of him. I said in another post, forget Wembley it's gone, get behind the team and it would be great if everyone sang KO's name at the next home game, give the lad a lift cos without a doubt he runs his heart out for our club. (can't think of any songs his name will fit into mind you)

The Lad Shouldn't Be Abused But Realistically Davey needs to drop him and try alternatives.Fact of the matter is ODEJI and FERENZI are NOT good Enough!!!!!

    I hope not.

Boo somebody for a dispicable action... not for making a mistake. A mistake that the best players in the world have made... and worse. Anyone can mis-kick a ball. It will haunt him for the rest of his life. From what I understand, the lad puts his all into every match he plays. You may not agree with his selection but surely you can't have a problem with his attitude once picked.

it wasn't a miss kick it was bad technique, he did well to get onto the ball then tried beating the keeper at his near post, having said that I will still certainly NOT be booing the lad

Yeah but will they subsequently chant the reasoning behind their booing?

"Booooooo! To Simon's selec-tion... not to Odejayeee himself! Oh!" (pick a suitable tune)

    I can't see it somehow.

    You're nit-picking surely...

Striking the ball in a direction different to that which you intended (i.e. on target) qualifies as a mis-kick whether this is down to poor technique or not.

I wouldn't say that, he struck the ball well so I couldn't say it was a miss kick, I think he just got the direction wrong! Should've struck the ball across the keeper

    youre' preaching

to the converted because most on here (me included) have stated over and over that they do not condone booing our own players. However that definiteley was not a miss kick on Saturday he took it too far narrowed his own angle and then took the wrong (narrowest) option and to talk about him like its a one off thing is hardly touching the root of the problem because the kids blown more clear cut chances than enough this season. As previously stated by a someone he reacts rather than anticipates and quite honestly looks anything but a natural forward. In his defence however his he at least tries and does some good work,I am also convinced though that sometimes he takes a yard off his pace to avoid getting in a more difficult scoring chance so he doesnt blow it because his confidence is so low.He also shouyld'nt take all the blame because Stan has been next to useless this year and Davey seems to have no idea how to sort our forward play out
