So then, are we gonna wait until it's too late to offer Vaz Te a new contract?

i'm sure we are on that ... i think vaz te is a complex character & maybe we dont want to give him a 3 year contract too soon ... otherwise why would we have got him in the first place?

I think he'll hold out to the summer and end up as a it part player in a money'd champ side, then slip down to div1...leagueoneavich anyone?

That's what will probably happen, then the manager will bring up lack of funds again.

Obviously our best player this season. Folk keep going on about risk but I can't see the risk in a two year contract....................depending on what wage he wants.

    Gotta sort it out though

I think you're gonna be gutted then. I'm surprised no-ones been in for him yet. If I were West Ham I'd rather pay £500k ish for Vaz Te than £2-3 Mill for Jordan Rhodes any day.

Barnsley will end up letting him go for peanuts as it seems that is the Barnsley way. Getting very fed up of this approach though i have to say!
