He was alright for us but definately no legend. Today he was very poor and seemed more bothered about acknowledging the crowd all the time than playing well.
(chinny)Give Stan the credit he is due. Why bring him down? It was obvious that he was over the moon at returning. Why try to sour it?
I can't get my breath! (dunno)

Yeah he was over the moon and it was great to see him back. Just didn't play well at all against us. The most life in him all afternoon was clapping the crowd during his half time warm down.
well spunk bubble, he was acknowledging the crowd because he didnt want to leave and he actually loves Barnsley and its people, PLUS it was a friendly (pint)
Babe Your breathe is wasted on that dickwad.. i wouldnt lose sleep love. Welcome back btw, its wierd cos i was actually thinking about you an why you'd stopped posting the day you started posting again.. I really must stop eating cheese on a night, oh and drink less vodka x x
Well agreed. Why bring him down?
He never wanted to leave us in the first place and his heart has a special place forus all at Barnsley FC.
Why Dreamboy is posting derogatory things about Stan, I have no idea
Stan is a legend. I was very sorry to see him leave, along with loads of others I know.
It's obvious that Stan feels the same.
Please, leave him alone.
Thanks for your kind comments Ady - I'll always remember you helping me out with a song I desperately needed way back on the old board year sago.
Had a soft spot for you ever since lol.
!Yooooooooooooooooooreds!

There are different types of legends Some because of what a good footballer they are, and some for the way they conduct themselves. Ferenczi, out of all the foreign players I remember us having, has by a country mile embraced our club, town and supporters more than anyone else. His Facebook photo is his Barnsley photo, he comments about games all the time still, he wishes us good luck, he couldn't wait to come back. The list of reasons goes on. He was a good player for us, not on the same level as Ward, Redders, Hendrie etc, but he is in my eyes a legend as a man.
