In 5 days since reaching safety,we've drawn up a contract with the manager (both parties happy) issued season ticket prices for next season and even announced our first pre-season friendly, also issued our retained list. Not bad by any ones standards.

Nobody's going to be happy until they know Flitcroft is staying. It's as simple as that.

If it was as "plain sailing" as was being suggested, they would have announced officially that Flitcroft was staying. Foster said on the radio this morning that "he hopes Flitcroft decides to stay." There's no way its as cut and dried as you're suggesting it is.

Once he signs, then we can start to move forward. It concerns me that Flitcroft said we were already behind the 8-ball at the end of the season, yet its going to potentially be two weeks before we know that he's staying on. Whichever way you look at it, that's not ideal.

    No panic, but its unsettling.

Agree. This 'it's a formality' thing just isn't washing with me.
