Not only do we have a chairman/owner/board of directors who have just sacked our most successful manager for years for failing to strenghten the squad they now sell our best player and not only that they FAIL to strenghten the weakest part of our team the DEFENCE!!! WHAT THE **** IS GOING ON?????????????????(furious) (furious) (furious) (furious) (furious)
C'est bizarre McIndoe may have been getting cold feet about his move here with us looking like relegation contenders. May have asked his agent to find him a move to secure Championship football for a couple of years. However, with a centre half and possibly a left back, along with Knight, I would have been confident in our ability to survive this season anyway. It has to have been a "snap your hand off" fee, though. I just can't see them letting him go for next to nowt. All the same - sack Ritchie for failure to strengthen and two days later, replace proven quality with largeky unknown quantities.
Can't see them.. letting him go for next to nowt? I CAN!!! Back to the Joe Richards days - sell the best players to balance the books.
largely unknown quantities Its got to thee nar.
Walwark...premiership experience, played many times for WBA this season
Knight..Fast, scores the odd goal - better than tommy wright.
McCann..highly rated goal scoring midfielder..better pedigree than McIndoe (who came form Yoevil & Pikeys)
Weir..tha may have a point though he has played youth international (as had tommy wrong!) and is rated at The Boleyn Ground.
