Scum lose 4-2 in the Football League Trophyat a bottom tier Rotherham, who've been ejected from their own ground, and moan that the goals aren't big enough.
Absolutely couldn't wish for much more out of that. Its just brilliant

The Leeds Laughathon just goes on and on. They won't come up this year either. Playoffs at best for them.
RE: Dale Tonge Said so at the time.
Think of those we've jettisoned recently, he's one that maybe needed to take a step back to move forwards. Academy product an'all.

RE: Dale Tonge
If we had owt about us, we'd ask for him back. Slackest of slack decisions since the last one.

RE: Dale Tonge I'd have him back if only for that tackle he made at The Millenium straight after coming on - thought he was going straight back up the tunnel.
Probably didn't try hard enough in training or summat.

Not bad Played right full back/wing back - got forward a lot. Good touches on the ball. Bit caught out at times positionally when Leeds attacked at pace but I never thought he was a full back.
With guidance think he'll make his way back up the leagues.

Pre match Some of their players mentioned that the goals were too small. The ref agreed and they were jacked up by about 2".

So anyway, the Scum only hit the bar from a freekick.
They should have asked for another inch

Put yourslef in their shoe's though. Surely we'd do the same? It's a chance to see their team at wembley and even better they could draw a big club in the next round, like scnuthorpe maybe! This might be the only chance little insignificant clubs like Leeds will get for glory in a massive, high profile cup competition like the........ Hold on a minute........ It was the Johnstons Paint trophy?!?!?! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. What a bunch of losers!!
